Transwestern’s Talent Solutions lead approached Club Colors seeking a way to elevate their new hire onboarding experience. Their goal was to create a memorable first impression that embodied Transwestern’s brand and welcomed new team members across all locations. They needed a customized kit program that could be delivered seamlessly to each new hire throughout the year.

The strategy

To address Transwestern’s need for a streamlined and impactful new hire experience, the Club Colors team focused on:

- Rapid response and collaboration to align quickly on needs and timelines.

- Sharing quality product samples and design concepts to help Transwestern confidently select items that fit their brand.

- Creating an integrated, custom kit design — from the packaging to the messaging — that reinforced Transwestern’s culture and made each new hire feel welcomed.

This approach ensured the program would be scalable, on-brand, and engaging, transforming a typical onboarding step into a meaningful first impression.

The solution

Club Colors produced 400 fully custom new hire kits, each including:

- A custom-branded kit box with messaging printed on three sides.

- Practical, premium branded items such as tumblers, pens, and notebooks.

- Custom welcome notes supplied by Transwestern to add a personal touch.

To ensure smooth delivery, the kits were stored in-house at Club Colors and drop-shipped weekly to new hires as they joined the company. This provided a reliable, consistent, and scalable fulfillment process.

The outcome

The program has been a standout success for Transwestern:

- Kits have been shipped weekly since May, keeping up with onboarding needs.

- C-Suite executives praised the initiative after receiving their own kits as gifts.

- New hires shared their excitement on LinkedIn, showcasing the program’s positive impact and extending Transwestern’s brand presence.
